Government to launch Vetting & Barring Scheme (VBS)
Just another Government Quango and stealth tax or genuine attempt to increase protection for the vulnerable. Not content with list 99, CRB checks, POVA & POCA - the Government has now decided to introduce another Body, Agency and cost to our sector. It'll cost £64 per person and below you'll find some quotes from their official information.
New online booking system prepping for September launch
Over the past 6 months Eyears have been working closely with Spiderscope on the launch of their online bookings & management system. This will allow our Staff to recruit quicker, book shifts instantly and communicate in many different ways at the click of a button. We're never going to remove the human touch or get a phone system that says "press 1 to speak with so and so" - to us the relationship between our Staff, Clients & Consultants is the highest priority.
On the move in Birmingham
We are happy to announce that we will be moving in August 2009 to bigger premises in Birmingham. We won't be moving too far - about 300 metres in fact - but our new premises will offer better access for our Clients & Staff alike and provide us with more usable space than we currently have.
