Nursery Nurse job in Shirehampton

We are currently looking to recruit a nursery nurse in the Shirehampton area for a temporary role.

What you are doing:

−       To meet with the EYFS safeguarding and welfare requirements 

−       Ensure that British Values are incorporated and demonstrated through Early years and play

−       To attend monthly staff meetings, training and nursery events as required

−       Monitoring the children’s progress in their individual development and learning

−       Building trusting relationships with parents and staff

−       Safeguard and promote health, safety, and welfare of children in line with our child protection and keeping everyone safe policies and procedures

−       Observing and caring for the children when they are eating, sleeping, and playing

−       Make accurate assessments of the child which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of development.

What you must have:

−       Minimum of a Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare

−       Experience working as a nursery nurse in a childcare setting - paid or voluntary

−       To meet with the EYFS safeguarding and welfare requirements

−       Enthusiasm about providing excellent levels of care

−       Initiative coupled with a practical, problem-solving, can-do attitude
